Our fee structure has been produced to cover the level of childcare required. Sessions available can include mornings, afternoons, full day and weekly rates. Meal options are also available.

Fee Structure

  1. Late fees £5 for every 15 minutes of lateness
  2. Two week holiday pro-rata at 50% of weekly fees
  3. All bank holidays 100% refunded
  4. Outstanding fees of two weeks will result in the child’s place being cancelled and outstanding debt passed on to our Finance department
  5. Fees must be paid either weekly or monthly

Registration Fee

To secure a place at Little Stars Day Nursery for your child we require a registration fee of £30 when you return your form, or £15 if parents/carers are a staff/student of GIFHE. This will ensure the days and sessions you require will be allocated to your child.

This is a government scheme whereby the government pay 20% into your tax-free childcare account for every £8 you put into the account the government will put in £2, which could mean a saving of £2,000 per year
If you are attending University you may be able to claim student finance to help towards your childcare fees, if you are eligible you could receive 85% towards these, and you will only have to pay 15% of your fees.
If you are attending college you may be entitled to bursary support, this again has eligibility criteria which can be discussed with the learner services department over at the Grimsby Institute. If you are eligible they could pay 100% off your childcare fees whilst you are at college.

If you are a college student and under 19 years old you could claim to have all of your childcare costs paid for by Care 2 Learn, this would need to be applied for, the learner services team at the Grimsby Institute can offer help and support on this.

Two-year funding is a criteria for families receiving certain government support and must be applied for through childcarechoices.gov.uk.

All 3 and 4-year-olds will receive 15 hours the term after their 3rd birthday. Some families are entitled to an additional 15 hours which is the 30-hour funding and is for working families again please visit childcarechoices.gov.uk

You could claim up to 70% of your childcare costs through tax credits, this is for working families.

This could save you 85% of your childcare costs and is for working families.
